BlackRock is one of the newest Real Estate Firms in the Highlands/Cashiers area offering many years of real estate experience with Doug Helms as the Principal Broker. The Business Model at BlackRock from the beginning has been to emphasize the service aspect of real estate operations and to maintain professionalism at all times.
In its first year of operation, 2007, BlackRock ranked 15th out of 80 firms reporting sales, according to sales figures generated by the Highlands-Cashiers Board of Realtors, reflecting the experience and clients that our brokers bring to the firm.
Doug Helms has earned the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate Realtor Institue) designations, the two highest designations in the industry. These designations and the networks behind them bring consistent exposure to marketing trends and new technology to the firm. BlackRock understands that the vast majority of Buyers and Sellers use the internet to research, so the company mantains a strong presence and upgrades it's "search" positions on an on-going basis. BlackRock also understands that those same Buyers and Sellers employ the services of a Realtor so, in the end, a high level of customer service is the key to continued business growth.
